Here are some photos that I took recently which I put through Photoshop. I'm showing you what they looked like before and then afterwards with the adjustments.
Here is a new portrait that I just completed recently of entrepreneur Jonathan Budd. I chose to paint him because of how much an amazing influence he has been on me. He made me realize how anything is possible if you set your mind towards it. His video "The Unstoppable Entrepreneur" changed my life. I have dedicated this blog to the making process of this portrait.
Down below are some photos of him that I found online along with some rough sketches I made of them. This is the part of the process where I'm becoming acquainted with my subject by studying their personality and facial structure.
Next comes the three digital paintings I did on Photoshop so I can dig deeper into my subjects personality and study the color.
And finally comes the painting itself. I have copied the painting from the following photo of him from "The Unstoppable Entrepreneur."
First comes drawing the grids onto the canvas and then sketching in the image. From there I keep applying layers of paint until the image comes together. You can see the slide show I put together down below of the painting process from start to finish along the both the painting and photo next to each other.
Feel free to leave me comments and let me know what you think. I'm always open for feedback.
