One trick you can try is to Photoshop your work in a gallery setting or any type of surrounding that you think your art would look good in. or you can design your own gallery space. You might even pick up some interior design skills while you’re at it. Take a look at the one I designed down below for my work:
Another important part of displaying art is framing. I believe a frame gives a painting more value, whether it’s decorative or just plain and simple. I know it might be expensive to get your work framed these days but maybe you might want to take it as an opportunity to design your own frames. You can buy a plain frame and decorate it with whatever mediums anyway you want. I’m in the middle of designing my own right now which I will share in one of my upcoming tutorials. You can see the progress I’m making in some of my latest photos on my Twitter page.
Also, labels are important too. What’s helpful is to type them out and then have them laminated. And make sure they are displayed in a way where viewers can easily identify which painting the labels are referring to.
When your work is displayed in a well-professional way you will be amazed my how much success it brings to your art career.
